Approximately 65% of IGSS students elect to not take grades in IGSS. Those students receive a “++” on their New Trier transcript next to their IGSS courses. All students, regardless of whether they take grades or not, receive the IGSS narrative, which is attached to their New Trier transcript. The narrative shows the competencies earned and includes student statements and teacher statements.
